About the event

Join Green Heat Coop and North Herts Citizens Advice Bureau for a webinar discussion on how to improve your home's efficiency and save money this winter. The session will cover:

  • What’s happening in the energy markets;
  • Cost-effective ways of reducing your energy consumption; and
  • Support available locally and from government.

Tom Hogan lives in Hitchin and volunteers for North Herts Citizens Advice, specialising in energy.  His work aims to help people find ways to keep their homes warm, advising on practical steps, grants, fuel debt, and government help during a period of ongoing crisis in the energy market and rapidly rising prices. Tom's professional background is in housing and local government.

Fiona Hughes lives in Royston and is the founder of Green Heat Coop, a community energy organisation focusing on home energy efficiency and low carbon heating. After spending over 5 years advising governments and businesses on green heating solutions, Fiona started Green Heat Coop to provide local, community-based support for households who want to make their homes more efficient and climate-friendly.
